Actor Jack is becoming a Mud Monster for QVH Charity!

Actor Jack Ashton, currently starring as Harry Chilcott in BBC’s The Archers and well-known for playing Reverend Hereward in BBC’s Call The Midwife, will be taking on a different role later this month as he will once again be heading up our QVH Charity team in the East Grinstead Mud Monsters run.

The event will be taking place on Saturday 22 June, with participants navigating through muddy pits, fields, hills and other obstacles over courses of 7km or 14km, whilst raising money for our charity.

Jack Ashton, an ambassador for QVH Charity says:

“I’ve participated in the Mud Monsters run before and it is great fun and a brilliant challenge to take on. I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in (the mud) again this year! I have visited Queen Victoria Hospital several times and have seen first-hand the excellent care they provide so I’m delighted to be fundraising for the  amazing QVH Charity which is very close to my heart.”

Camilla Lane, Head of Fundraising and Voluntary Services, says:

“We are so grateful to Jack for taking on this challenge to raise money for QVH Charity again and helping us make a real difference at the hospital. The atmosphere at Mud Monsters in previous years has been fantastic, and we are looking forward to taking part again this year.”
