DRAFT PAGE – QVH Appeal NEEDS DONATION FORMS
We have over 1,000 staff who support almost 21,000 inpatient stays each year and 190,000 outpatient appointments. Will you stand beside our amazing teams by donating to our QVH Appeal?
Patients receive really good care with us, but we want to make it the very best possible. Every day brings new challenges in our hospital, our clinics and our minor injuries unit. By donating to our QVH Appeal, you can help us respond quickly, as soon as the need arises.
We depend on charitable support, and every day is a chance for you to make a difference. You could be helping to pay for something big, like the latest scanner. Equally, you could be supporting a small comfort that makes all the difference, such as activity kits for young burns patients, breast cancer information videos to aid informed surgical choices, or wellbeing support for hardworking staff. Whatever the need, we can help by working together.
Charitable support has long been transformative in the NHS, and in our latest Impact Report (add link), you can read more about the incredible difference we have been able to make because of supporters like you.
How you can support Queen Victoria Hospital:
- A gift of £15 could help fund an information session for patients needing additional support to overcome the challenges of jaw surgery
- A gift of £50 could help fund QVH’s specialist collection of scars – one of the largest research sets in the country.
- A gift of £100 could help buy virtual reality headsets to help burns victims with pain management during surgery.
- A gift of £2,000 could pay for some beautiful wall artwork – providing much appreciated enhanced surroundings for patients and staff
“Charitable support already makes such a difference. Recent examples include the funding a dermatoscope to help doctors catch cancer early, outdoor activities for children recovering from reconstructive surgery and peaceful spaces so staff can take a moment to recharge. On behalf of all patients, families and staff, I’d like to say a huge thank you.”
James Lowell, Chief Executive, Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
Whether you choose to set up a regular gift (add link) or make a one-off donation (add link), your support is guaranteed to be used where the need is greatest, wherever and whenever it arises. One day you and your loved ones might need critical care at QVH. Our NHS heroes are dedicated to making our services the very best they can be. Will you help too?
Thank you for your kindness.
